Dr. Michelle Taylor

Marine Geneticist

Dr Taylor is interested in how well connected our marine creatures are, geographically, through connectivity studies, and through time, in evolutionary studies. She learnt the tools of the genomics trade at Imperial College and Oxford, before setting up her on lab in Essex. Her studies focus on corals, the deep-sea, Antarctica, and fisheries. Dr Taylor is President of the Deep-Sea Biology Society.
