Participants will learn about the biology, ecology, and the importance of elasmobranchs to the Arabian Gulf.

Participants will be trained to identify and collect species specific data and tissue samples from fish-markets and landing sites that will serve the management of elasmobranchs .

(e.g. data include species composition, size, sex and seasonality of landings).

Participants will be able to use and contribute knowledge to “Tadween” biodiversity database.

Coral Reef Ecology

INDOOR WORKSHOP
