Coral Reef Monitoring Surveys

We wrapped up our coral reef surveys for the year this month! 10 coral reef sites were successfully surveyed bringing in new data with three newly discovered reefs for us Bahraini scientists! Next step, data analysis to gauge benthic community composition and much more!

Data such as these help provide decision makers with meaningful and important information that helps better and effective marine spatial planning and more including prioritizing areas for protection.
