MENA Oceans Summit
Nuwat was invited to participate in the MENA Oceans Summit as a moderator of a panel that embodied discussions on “Laying the foundations for regional conservation efforts” in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The panel delivered insightful and engaging discussions as its members were made up of esteemed and rich expertise that have served the region through their valuable work! The speakers include:

Discussions touched upon the role of governments in managing our oceans, shared challenges faced, opportunities and collaborative initiatives that enable innovation and the progress made in marine conservation within our region. The summit brought together individuals & organizations all of whom work on various issues within their scope to contribute towards accelerating the pace of ocean action. Other panels also hosted many brilliant minds shed valuable insights into topics ranging from blue economy to blue governance, science and collective efforts.
